This morning, I made boiled taro root for breakfast and it was so delicious and satisfying. Taro has a naturally creamy texture once cooked, almost like a cross between a potato and a sweet yam. It’s not just tasty, taro is packed with energy, fiber and nutrients that help fuel your day and support digestion. Simple, grounding and deeply nourishing. This is one of those breakfasts I keep coming back to.
